On September 4, 2007 8pm, Doreen will appear in a concert of opera, operetta and musical theatre solos and duets with tenor David Katz, accompanied by Maestro Edward Kalendar, at The Jonathan Ielpi Firefighters Memorial Park (Grace Avenue Park) as part of the Town of Great Neck’s Labor Day weekend festivities.

On June 9, 2007, she will appear in solo recital at the Jeanne Rimsky Theatre at Port Washington’s Landmark on Main Street, with a program of art song by Poulenc, Granados and Obradors, and popular song of Piaf, Brel, Weill, Sondheim and others.

On April 14, 2007, she will be a featured performer as one of four cantors at Temple Isaiah, Great Neck, New York, singing, among other works, Maurice Ravel’s magnificent Kaddish (1914), accompanied by noted composer and pianist Edward Kalendar.

On March 11, 2007, Doreen will be heard at the Roslyn Library, Roslyn, New York, giving the debut of “Philosophical Insomnia,” three songs from Starr Sackstein’s collection of poems of the same title, by Long Island composer Herb Rothgarber. The concert is part of the Long Island Composer’s Alliance’s annual festival of new music by its composer-members.
